Baltic Broadband offers its products and services on a wholesale basis for companies wishing to provide them to their own customers. Wholesale partners can obtain discounted pricing for all Connectivity, Colocation and Baltic Catapult products.
In order to keep things simple, we have created 2 types of wholesale tiers as follows:
Wholesale Partner – Layer 3
Wholesale Partners (Layer 3 only) take our products and services at wholesale rates, marking up the service and providing it under their own brand, contract and contact centre.
The wholesale rates that we provide the partner allows for good margins which is backed by our excellent 24/7 support, coupled with our market disrupting high speeds and innovative products to allow the Reseller to secure good long term revenue streams, especially when combined with various other managed services that the partner sells to their customer.
- Partners are responsible for all communications with the partners customers including the handling of all billing and support issues
- Partners receive one invoice per month from Baltic Broadband (billed by Direct Debit) that includes all services, split out with their customers site referenced (if required)
- Partners are responsible for compliance with all regulatory matters
- Baltic are responsible for installing and maintaining the service and supporting the Partners only, as third line support to the partner (not the partners end customer)
- Baltic will have no contact with the Partners customers
Ideal for :
- IT companies/Managed Service Providers that wish to retain control of the customer relationship and procure services on their behalf, quite likely as part of a complete “360” of managed services
- Telecoms companies who don’t have their own network and wish to reseller our services as their own under their own brand and billing
Wholesale Partner – Layer 2
Wholesale (Layer 2) partners technically integrate into Baltic’s network so they can use Baltic Broadband’s infrastructure to reach customers, sometimes called the “last mile” (for Digital Connectivity and Colocation only).
Although it’s Baltic Broadband providing the physical connection to the partners customer, it’s the Partners internet connection that is being provided to them, using the partners IP addressing, transit and peers. If the Partners customer did a lookup on the IP address, it would show the partners details, not Baltic Broadband.
In this instance, Baltic Broadband are operating as a layer 2 conduit, helping the partner reach endpoints (customers) that they otherwise could not.
- Partners ingrate via Layer 2 at “meet-me” points, quite often in our Colocation Locations in Liverpool, Manchester Teledata and London Telehouse.
- Partners provide their own IP addressing to their customers
- Baltic are a simple layer 2 conduit providing the whole link or last-mile connectivity
- Optionally, Baltic can raise Partners own AS Number with any IP blocks
- Partners receive one invoice per month from Baltic (by Direct Debit) that includes all services, split out with their customers site referenced (if required)
- Partners are responsible for compliance with all regulatory matters
- Baltic are responsible for supporting the Partner Only, as third line support to the partner (not the partners end customer)
- Baltic have no contact with the partners end customer
Ideal for :
- Established networks who already have an AS number or transit up-streams and need Baltic Broadband to connect the partners customer to the partners existing network
- New networks that wish to build out a network in the region and need to use Baltic Broadband’s existing infrastructure to reach key customers before their network is live, possibly building out their Points of Presence in our Data Centres as well
- Larger businesses who want to extend their corporate private network to homeworkers, schools or have a specialist application that requires direct access to premises, but don’t want the large upfront investment in digital infrastructure
Additionally: for all Partners, Baltic likes to create mutually beneficial relationships, as such, we’d like to know about the services that you offer as many of our existing customers and other partners may be interested in your services. Our existing partners have enjoyed over £2.5m of two-way business over the last 2 years alone.
